facility has grown to 37,000 square feet with equipment that includes
state-of-the-art computer aided manufacturing equipment and in-house

manufacturing requirements.
Design &
Manufacturing, Inc., located in Fisher, Illinois, was incorporated in 1976 with
a staff of six in a 6,800 square foot facility. Our original objective was to
design and manufacture a film handling system to be used in the projection
booths of commercial theatres.
As our staff,
equipment and physical plant grew, so did our expertise and capabilities. In
1980 we entered the job shop custom machining business. We began manufacturing products and parts
for a
wide variety of firms; in addition to becoming the largest
national manufacturer of film handling
equipment.
